Technology at heights

Griesemann Höhentechnik GmbH specialises in carrying out inspection and assembly work at great heights and at workplaces requiring complex scaffolding.

Our range of services includes maintenance, repairs, inspections and assembly – work at height in pipeline technology and steel construction – as a perfect counterpart to the other trades offered by the Griesemann Group.

Our main range of services is in the field of elevated flare inspections, the replacement of flare heads and pilot burners and in the safe assembly of special structures, which are often used for the inspection of pressure vessels, for example the specially developed spherical tank access system.

All this work is carried out using a combination of industrial climbing and rope access techniques, special structures and hoistable personnel lifting equipment. The consistent use of these techniques and the provision of comprehensive services means that administrative resources can be conserved and costs for scaffolding and cranes are significantly reduced.

Our services

Your industrial climbers for specialised jobs in the chemical and petrochemical industries. We carry out all work in the areas of maintenance, repairs, inspections and installations with our experienced and full-time rope access technicians.

With the help of aerial drones, we can carry out advance inspections of elevated flares or installations in areas that are difficult to access and use this knowledge to develop a high-altitude work and installation concept for our customers for their turnaround.

Safety is the highest priority

We pay special attention to occupational safety: The use of certified and regularly tested equipment is just as obligatory as the use of personnel who are always highly trained and qualified with all the necessary occupational health examinations (G41 and G26III). This is the only way we have achieved GOAL ZERO for many years.

IRATA – Industrial Rope Access Trade Association

The internationally recognised standard with unsurpassed safety figures in rope access technology. As a result, IRATA is becoming increasingly important to our customers in the chemical and petrochemical industries.

All our industrial climbers are IRATA certified. We have been implementing the IRATA rope access guidelines for many years and are currently in the process of re-certification as an IRATA member company. We expect this process to have been completed in May 2023.
